Python backend developer

The tech team is composed of :

• 1 CTO (Paris based)
• 1 VP Of Engineering (Paris based)
• 1 Architect (Lisbon based)

• Web full stack developers

Mission

You will be a member of the Superconnector team and you are in charge of interconnecting Rise Up with its customers. You are nice at using API, ETL and manipulating complex data architecture. Under supervision of your Team Leader, you will develop several Python connectors per month to automatise data flow and make our clients' lives easier. To bootstrap your work, you will use our internal ETL Framework to develop those projects. It is based on Celery, RabbitMQ and Pandas library.

Each project has differents step :

• Take in account the client validated specifications
• First version development
• Pre production test
• Release in production
• Connector check and monitoring

Our infrastructure is spread across multiple regions, mostly on AWS and we use a lot of their services : AWS lambda, SNS, SQS, Codedeploy, Global database.

About You

You are based in France. You are an experienced backend development engineer. You will report to Ehsen, our Lead developer who will help you to develop in depth product knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience :

• You have a successful experience with Python and another development framework on a Production application
• Strong knowledge of Pandas, REST APIs, SQL and unit testing
• Able to solve problems in a simple, neat and organized way
• Good spoken and written English
• Rigorous and meticulous: you will work close to the production and you have to pay attention to it
