You'll tackle complex challenges and maintain our robust infrastructure, handling over 60PB+ of monthly data traffic. Our systems are impressive:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage
• 60PB+ monthly data traffic
• 300k+ service requests/sec processed
• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

As the Scraping Tech Squad Lead, you'll play a crucial role in delivering scraping solutions that enable multiple teams to ensure data delivery at scale. You'll have the autonomy to lead a squad of senior engineers, shaping the future of our data delivery. You'll be the vital link between your squad and R&D, ensuring an exceptional developer experience and guaranteeing the rock-solid operational stability of all squad services.

📅 Your Day-to-Day 📅

• Collaborate with our R&D team to ensure their discoveries are successfully integrated into the production environment.
• Own sprint planning and manage a structured JIRA backlog, defining clear requirements and realistic ETAs.
• Unravel high-impact ideas to drive Key Results (KRs) and align squad objectives with company goals.
• Foster a motivating team environment through effective workload management and continuous feedback.
• Actively participate in technical discussions to resolve roadblocks and maintain system health.
• Uphold Agile best practices while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and accelerate development speed.

💡 Your Skills & Experience 💡

• Proven experience in software development and leading technical teams of senior engineers.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining a long-term strategic focus.
• A genuine passion for continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one back-end language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript (JS), and REST APIs.
• Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and software deployment processes.

💰 Salary 💰

• Gross salary: 4500 - 6000 EUR/month. We're open to discussing a different salary based on your unique skills and experience.
